It is also used by the general library user with an interest in cinema. UCC Library holds over 3,000 films on DVD, most of them borrowable. We also stock thousands of texts dealing with cinema. We subscribe to numerous journals and film magazines. And of course we subscribe to many film databases such as Film Index International , American Film Index Catalogue, International Federation of Film Archives A Film Studies libguide, newly released, can be accessed here our film studies liaison librarian is Claire O’Brien.

Our recommended read of the  week is one for those concerned with their Digital Privacy. This article by Kevin Mitnick on how to go invisible online is worth definitely worth a read.
